I received my undergraduate degree from UW-Madison, Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University, and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Having worked in various capacities in the mental health and behavioral health world for over twenty years, I have witnessed the powerful impact of connectedness. This has been evident in my work with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions, and stress management. In all of these contexts, the dynamics of the relationship made all the difference, allowing for development and success to be realized.
I believe moments of feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or alone can happen to anyone, but you don’t have to navigate these challenges by yourself. As your therapist, I will help to support you in cultivating a fulfilling and joyful life. I am dedicated to helping you achieve your goals by leveraging your strengths and fostering personal growth through encouragement and constructive feedback. I will provide a compassionate space where any individual is welcome to explore their concerns comfortably.
My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. Most frequently Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy are utilized to provide support and practical feedback to help you resolve current concerns and long-standing patterns. I am able to help you set realistic goals and increase your overall satisfaction in life. I want to help my clients feel they can be open and honest with me to ensure the most therapeutic relationship. I also work with couples seeking deeper connection and healthier communication, drawing on Gottman Method training to guide that work with research-based tools and practical support.
With curiosity and empathy, change and growth can be possible. Every human deserves to be supported through their journey. I want to work together to create the positive changes you desire and embrace your true worth. I would be honored to walk alongside you during this process!
